Regex Tester

A regular expression (Regex) is a sequence of characters defining a search pattern. The Regex Tester executes expressions directly against your sample text with visual match highlighting.

1. 1Type your regular expression pattern in the regex bar (e.g. `[A-Za-z0-9._%+-]+@[A-Za-z0-9.-]+\.[A-Za-z]{2,}`).
2. 2Toggle flags: Global (`g`), Case-Insensitive (`i`), Multiline (`m`), Single-line (`s`).
3. 3Type or paste test strings into the editor.
4. 4Review matched substrings, match count, and indexed capture groups.

• •The `g` flag finds all matches throughout the text rather than stopping after the first match.
• •Use non-capturing groups `(?:...)` when grouping without creating additional capture indexes.
